Rosetta Stone Redux Poem by Sarah Stalder

Rosetta Stone Redux

This is a reworking of the original, I was in a foul mood that day...still not sure which I prefer.

On my knees, without the strength I need to pretend
Decinstructed, will I ever learn?
Fleeing pain, run straight into myself once again.
Moth to flame, held captive as I burn.

As I'm twisting, turning, spinning around
Seeking the elusive place where I belong
I'm lost, despairing will I ever be found?
Crying out for love to bring me home.
No more alone
Are you my rosetta stone?
