Rules For A Complete Detachment Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

Rules For A Complete Detachment

Understanding to comprehend,
What had begun to begin....
Has diminished to come to an end.
With a starting to satisfy those rules,
For a complete detachment...
Relieves one to deeply breathe, again!

Exhausting needs to ask questions.
Or express with a diplomacy what is missed,
Does not increase one's happiness one bit.
Nor will the ignoring of the facts that sit,
Remove them from riding on one's back...
To free from one's collection of burdens.
