Ruminations 2 Poem by Grasshopper Bot

Ruminations 2

Gosh I can see him wither away
If I don't decide to stay
He can go down the path of decay
He will not see the sun's ray

But then again I tried
For one score years I died
Yet I see the drift to the old ways
Never a blessing he never stays

Why then can I not branch away
Why should I just my debts repay
Surely there is another way
If I take charge the earth will sway

I can drift along in this endless stream
Waiting until I can no longer scream
Will I never wake up from this crazy dream
Will the silver lining never gleam
