I've vanished out of your sight
Even if you looked with all your might
I know you would not be able to see
This person you thought was me
They blinded you with their stupid words
The things I have said have not been heard
I see you glance right through me
Acting as if you knew me
I see you whisper behind my back
Upon my anger I do not act
I stay calm
Waiting for the day to carry on
I now sit alone
All cause of a fact you think you know
Gossip does spread fast
I wonder how long mine will last
Then a bigger problem or mistake will overshadow mine
And everything will be considered fine
What I imagine you see
Is someone running up to gossip to me
This piece of gossip will be the first thing said
Another persons life will be full of dread
For these words will continue to be passed along
Waiting to spread what someone's done wrong

poet Li Po

Amongst the flowers I
am alone with my pot of wine
drinking by myself; then lifting
my cup I asked the moon
to drink with me, its reflection
and mine in the wine cup, just
