Run Away Little Girl Poem by Brian Griffin

Run Away Little Girl

Lonely am I
since you've been gone
mem'ries I hold
in my heart, for all time.
Searching for the one
who'll love me for me
unlike you who threw me away
at the first sign of trouble.
Love is stronger than that
it requires work and attention
you only cared for yourself
instead of US.
You listened to everyone else
Their opinions, advise
And never asked
How I felt...
So run away and hide
when each problem arises
you're still a little girl at heart
and I need a woman.
