Running Out (Old Friends) Poem by Biniam Tekeste

Running Out (Old Friends)

My car ran out of fuel
So I went to the gas station
I had plenty cash in my pocket
And got my car back full.
But now something stupid has happened
I've run out of old friends
I still got plenty cash in my pocket
But money can't buy a good friend.

So now what do I do
I have no one to turn to
Alas, I'm gonna keep my chin up
Won't let memories fade out
I'll cherish every moment
Won't let my mind forget
Especially
The walk in the moonlight!
