Running Thin Poem by Lisa Rose

Running Thin

Rating: 5.0

Must be a living hell to love me
I know there's things I can't explain
I need forgiveness now to save me
Save me from myself, my guilt, my shame
And all the walls are closing in
I can hear you saying here we go again
and my lifeline's running thin
now where do I begin

Descending into isolation
can't seem to fit in my own skin
neglecting current obligations
has taken me
to the state that I am in

And all the walls are closing in
I can hear you saying here we go again
and my lifeline's running thin
now where do I begin

Contemplating the situation
Can't seem to choose life or death
and all the pain I've ever caused you
be with me til I'm taking my last breath
