Running Through The Rainforest
Running through
The rainforest with you-
Monkeys are
Chanting-
The Cheetahs look
Impressed with our speed-
All the Snakes are
Spying-
The Parrots are saying,
“Slow Down! ”
The Panthers are
Confused-
Our feet collide
In stride
We trip-
We fall
Onto the
Bamboo leaves
landing on
One another-
We melt
Into tomorrow-
Our skin
Richer than
Yesterday-
Soaking
In little doses
of Brilliance
