Running Through The Rainforest - Poem by R.Benjamin Abate

Running through
The rainforest with you-
Monkeys are
The Cheetahs look
Impressed with our speed-
All the Snakes are
The Parrots are saying,
“Slow Down! ”
The Panthers are
Our feet collide
In stride
We trip-
We fall
Onto the
Bamboo leaves
landing on
One another-
We melt
Into tomorrow-
Our skin
Richer than
In little doses
of Brilliance
