Ruthless Rain Poem by Bianca Free

Ruthless Rain

I notice the sagging lines on her face, and the tear stains
that seem to stay,
Then to myself I say, She's going to leave me.
I'm buried under grief,
an emotion that grows each time I see her in the morning.
I'll search for her one day and she'll definitely be gone,
leaving a blackened sky behind.
My blood runs cold for I know
it's inevitable like the rain.
I wait and I wait and I wait for it to fall
'cause it will...any day now,
and it won't be a spring rain.
The rain is going to pour until I'm drowning.
