Sad Poem by Naida Nepascua Supnet

Sad

Rating: 5.0

Burst into tears
Cry for no reason
Stare at space
Sad very soon
Can't help but frown
can't help but grin
That is what happens
It's you I'm missin'
Then I will smile
Smile for no reason
Touch our son's head
Then stare at the moon
Listen to the radio
Sad with every song
I hum every tune
A tune for you alone.

Nice short piece. However it feels like there is much more to this poem that could be expanded as it leaves me wanting more.

Rythmic and very rich in content. If we can accept our own sadness, sadness is not necessary a real bad thing.

'Burst into tears Cry for no reason Stare at space Sad very soon... ' Sadness can be defined and manifests in many ways. Your poem accurately depicts how sadness can suddenly dominate our feelings, cause awkward changes in our emotions, with the pain of missing a special person in our lives. I enjoyed the honesty and direct simplicity of this persona. Read with pleasure.
