Sad But True Poem by jozzy inbloom

Sad But True

Rating: 5.0

How with my rough stained hand
Can I hold ur tenderness dear?
Which oozes from every pore of your skin
Like honey from its comb

How on my coarse cold chest
Can I lay ur gentleness dear?
Which’s entangled and glowin in ur eyes
Like the fireflies that crawl on a silent night’s skin

How with my harsh bitter lips
Can I kiss your sweetness dear?
Which’ s dripping from your soul
Like dew from the heart of a new born dawn

How with my pale lame heart
Can I love ur love dear?
Which like the wings of an angel flutters and wraps joy
Which’s as pure and bright as a baby’s dream
Which’s burstin me as a bubble in a foamy cascade…….

Very touching but why is it 'sad' but true. Why is love bound by physical barriers?
