Sadness Comes To Me At The End Of The Day

SADNESS COMES TO ME AT THE END OF THE DAY

Sadness comes to me at the end of the day
Emptiness also
And loneliness
Nothing inside but vague fear
Night and more night ahead
Only darkness inside
And sinking down
Emptiness and loneliness
Worse than sadness
Inside nothing except fear
And horrible imagining
Nothing to hope for
Fear and only fear

The Apple on the Tree—
Provided it do hopeless—hang—
That—"Heaven" is—to Me!
