Saints Or Lost Souls? Poem by Logan Fulk

Saints Or Lost Souls?

Are we to be lost souls?
Who watch as day rolls?
Or are we to be saints
Under the Sistine chapels paint?

If you are divine turn this water to wine.
If you are so holy thou shall amend his great folly.
Our lives bound thick with a strong golden twine
Our everlasting belief is ours solely

If we deny this call will we be shunned?
And be lost on a darkened path of light?
If our serene city’s citadel is to be over run
Then in this battle of belief we must fight.

The purpose of this is irrelevant
Just keep your belief forever strong
If anyone says this is arrogant
You can passionately tell them they’re wrong

If thou does not participate
There is nothing we can do
Thou’s thoughts he shall not have to recreate
As long as his belief stays true
