Salt And Sand Poem by Diana van den Berg

Salt And Sand

To walk with you
along a windy beach
is to taste
not only tang of salty air
but also grit of sand between the teeth,
and because I love
what is truth
and reality
and because they
have black
and white
and grey
and are you
I adore
you.
