These were the same people
Who always talked about struggle?
Emphasized the need to be united
In each move but never to be tolerated

They will talk about agony and pain
The natural calamity and cyclone
About earth quake and heavy rain
More about soaring price for onion

All blames are to be passed on to the Government
For not providing it at subsidized rate in the market
Not taking enough steps for rape of the woman
And above all not showing enough of concern for poor men

Yes, why not we talk against machinery?
We must talk about amassing illegal money
By beurocrats, clerks and politicians
And all other people acting like inhuman beings

The poor soldier is listening to all woes
He is thinking about wind direction that flows
But not getting any clue about people’s mood
They are concerned about well being and happening in neighborhood

Some of the young people start teasing young girls in public place
Public is watching their mad chase
No one raises alarm over what is happening!
The soldier is at dismay to witness such scene

He jumps to rescue the girl from being molested
The patience of public is tested
But no one jumps in fray to resist
The soldier rescues girl but loses life to rapists
