Sanctuary Poem by Laura arwen

Sanctuary

The sanctuary is
unnatural
The sanctuary is
protected from an
ancient and little-known
custom
Sometimes God is
for someone a
great friend and
listener
I want to
scream my confusion
and my plans
I'm so happy
to be with
my books
The sanctuary is
only a religious
symbol
I want touch
my feelings
I don't believe
in the religious
miracles because they
are too predictable
In this place
the people judge
in base to
its own religion
It's only an
arid illusion to
think that the
sanctuary is a
place to pray
and to ask
forgiveness
The pain doesn't
need the religion
to be unpainful
