Sands Of Time Poem by Diwakar Bhatt

Sands Of Time

A beautiful friend luckily I found again,
Lost in the sands of time, a bountiful gain.

The ecstasy, the euphoria, I am drowned in,
A longing is emanated to revisit the past from within.

Fond memories came alive before my eyes vividly,
Took me to uncharted realms of happiness fervidly.

Long years could not fade the moments colorful,
Recollections of old days seem real but not virtual.

Talking to her was a celestial bliss I reckon,
Sweet voice seeped in my senses to slacken.

Perhaps the god bestowed upon me a boon,
The same gorgeous face I would behold soon.

In the name of friendship, forgive my audacity
All I have scribbled are the words with veracity.
