Sanskrit Poem by Kong Yin

Sanskrit

You are ageless as the vast sky
unfathomable as a bottomless well
steadfast as impermanence
seamless as a goddess’ dress.
Yet, few are able to speak to you
and even fewer understand.

With a loving eye, like Buddha
you watch the worldly dust
and turn your solitude and compassion
into a single word – Om.

In the fleeting pause
between a mortal’s consecutive thoughts
you resonate in the vast cosmos
demonstrating an infinity overawing.
