Satellite Poem by Vera Sidhwa

Satellite

Satellite

As I lay down on the ground
At night,
I saw satellites go by.
I didn't see too many stars.

This nature around the satellite
Wasn't so important anymore.
This nature was disturbed
By manmade waves.

These manmade waves
Gave signals
That were used by humans
To use apps, cell phones and the like.

As I lay down on the
Night time grass.
I saw satellites go by.
I couldn't see too many stars.
