Savannah: Resting Ch 12 Poem by Mike Conkey

Savannah: Resting Ch 12

My mind is sorting out answers
claude is passing waves
something is differnt now
the air is glowing black
i drag him to the floor
he is just as fast
im throwin to the wall
i can seem to match him
lily is screamin
no crying
im thrown through the glass
my hands feel light
they are bleeding
i try to push the light through
it burns
but i push
claude is to the ground
claude i saved you
he replies
you should have let me die
whts worth living if i cant have her
i try to absorb his energy
the black is draining from his eyea
he tries to fight
but i take it all out now
he falls once more
blacked out now
lily seems to be calming
we need to leave
i pick up claude
we all fly
through the air and into the forest
we spend time
we all need the rest we almost had
