Save Arizona Poem by Juan Olivarez

Save Arizona, do the right thing,
Vote for the people on the front lines.
For ages to come, people will sing,
How their call for help, Obama declined.

Obama and his thugs want only one thing,
To rule the country with an iron fist.
So they help the criminals have their fling,
And tell Arizonians to cease and desist.

The rule of law means nothing to them,
And the will of the people they truly ignore.
They failed to act and the tide to stem,
They failed to protect us, leaving open all doors.

Enforce federal law, get off your behind,
Send troops to the border, get on the ball.
Every move you make, is so assinine,
Don't blame anybody, make the right call.

Soon mr. president, you're going to be,
The most hated man in the country by far.
They're laughing at you far across the sea,
Talking trash about you in neighborhood bars.

You're a hell of a speaker, I'll give you that,
But you have no substance, in the words you spout.
You should know that America swings a big bat,
But with you in office, we're losing our clout.

Get off your high horse, you've not been right yet,
Help Arizona fight the battle they're in.
Stop taking vacations on that Airforce One jet,
And help Arizona, fight till they win.

You were elected to work for the folks,
Not to run roughshod over us, ignoring the laws.
So your history making election was only a joke,
And now we see you, are so full of flaws.

America comes first, please, protect our own,
The rest of the world is not our concern.
Don't be such a glutton, at least throw them a bone,
But it looks to me like you'll never learn.
