Save Me From Myself Poem by Parker Griffith

Save Me From Myself

Oh won’t you save me
From myself
I’ve already tried
And there’s no one else.
Try as I might
I fall in the end
Crippled by illusions
In my own head.
But I know you can save me
If you’d just try
Just rip open the lid
And reach down inside.
Pull out everything bad
And leave in the good
You could take all that I had
If only you could.
