Savior Poem by DaunaLee Martens

Savior

Nobody cares
Nobody stops to
Notice
The girl sitting alone
Tears running freely
Down her face

She is so close
So close to
Swallow those little
Red pills

Until somebody
Stops to notice
And starts to care

A boy who
Cannot see
Feels her fear, hears her anguish
And comes over
Where she is

They talk,
He listens,
She cries,
He hugs and
Comforts

Who would have know
A blind boy
Able to comfort better
Than the world around them

She made a new friend;
A new friend forever
And she throws away
Those little red pills
With a smile on her face

She has met her savior

I dont know if you know the song 'Hero' by Superchic[k], but go look up the lyrics, its pretty similar in theme to this poem. Nicely written.
