Say My Name Poem by Kylee Bartz

Say My Name

You told me that you hurt yourself
I asked what did you do
You told me that you cut yourself
Unfortunately that was true

You said I deserved to know
And by that you were right
But even though you apologized
I cried myself to sleep that night

I asked why you did it and you said
You did it cuz you were stupid
But you don't want
To be dead

I worried you went to deep
And I hoped you would be okay
And I still want a good excuse
For what you did that day

Though I suggested getting help
You claimed you had too much pride
I should have made you get it though
Because I'd be nothing if you died

I just want you to stop
And I think you want the same
I'll always be here by your side
So if you need my help, just say my name

This Is a well written poem Kylee, giving hope to those who feel that there is no one out there that cares. I had written one similar to this called Depression. Keep the ink flowing and inspire us with your gift of poetry
