Scapegoat Poem by Kim Hooten

Scapegoat

Rating: 5.0

'It's all her fault'
So you say
Tell yourself lies
Till you turn grey
'She's to blame,
Takes all the guilt.'
So wrapped in
The lies you've built
Everything
Is now on me
There is no trial
I'm just guilty
You don't know the
Entire tale
But in your eyes
I always fail
You don't care
What I do
If things go wrong
It wasn't you
Now I see
The tears I've shed
Were pointless for
This now is dead
Or could it be,
It never lived?
All i got
Was pain you give
All I was
I can now see
Was scapegoat
Blamed easily
Do what you like
It's up to you
Just leave my friends
All I have that's true...
