Scared Boy Poem by Bryan Alexander

Scared Boy

Rating: 4.0

My book and life are falling apart
the glue that binds each
slowly fades with time
I have learned nothing
from my mistakes
And created nothing
from the pain
nothing worth reading or writing about
a sad collection of poorly
versed expression
whinings and mutterings
from a boy too stupid or scared
too lazy and tired to do anything
about it
hang in my closet
next to the suit I wore
at your funeral
and the box of memories
your mother gave me
before she ran away
