You been in love with me for awhile now
I been ducking and dodging turn it down
I just wanted more of a physical thing

and out of desperation
I caved
fresh from the rejection
I saved
A little piece of myself
I wanted to give to another
Yeah, this was a big mistake

Just didn't want the same things
Had so many expectations for us
My heart belongs to another
just as their heart do
Things got so complicated
tried to run away from the pain
my heart was still broken in two
I could no longer try and foul
what I had been feeling
