I am scared to say I love you
But somehow I will try
And when I say I love you
Can you promise not to make ma cry
I am trying to love you
Everyday more and a bit more
Because every time I see your face
My heart becomes more sure
When I saw you the other day
My heart did skip a beat
And my mind forgot the way
The way it had to speak
I am trying to forget
The distance that keeps us apart
And getting myself used to
Keeping you close to my heart
I promise I will try
To get as closely as I can to you
And I promise forever
My heart will belong to you
