Scared To Try Poem by Richard Noggin

Scared To Try

I left on a Monday morning
White clouds up in the sky
Sorrowing high above
On silver wings I fly
Sun climbing through the window
My neighbor sound asleep
The Stewart brings me a Pepsi
As I relax into my seat staring out the window
I see oceans of clouds and changing tides
Thinking to myself
As a tear creeps from my eye
I long to run this race called life
But am too scared to try
I must build up the courage
I must learn how to fly
