Shattered dreams
Crippled heart
Drowning in the dark

Hurt hope
Faded faith
Out of love

Pushed and shoved
Deceitful lies
Hiding eyes

Destroyed on the inside
Lost soul
Frozen in the cold
Hard as a stone

Petrified to the bone
Scared of love that was shown
Recovery unknown

Pull yourself together
Mend your dreams
I know you’re all cut up
But I'll mend the seams

Put a smile on your face
i know it feels like forever
But we don't heal at the same pace

So rest my angel
Rest that broken wing
Just peacefully sleep
I'll hold the worries you keep
