Scars On The Heart
Scars,
always there-
never gone
lining my heart
Scars,
always felt-
never seen
leading my way
There's no tomorrow,
just yesterdays.
mingled with sorrow
and lonely bays
Scars,
let 'em be felt
let 'em be seen
I have to move on
Forget not your past,
but let it not rule
love can only last
when you're not a fool
Scars,
will never go-
will never cease
accept 'em and live
