  Scent of Lavender

  early
mid-summer
morning

bronze-orange
sky shining brightly

inside
succulent
winds

lingers
the scent
of lavender

eastern breezes
roll off the sea
gently spraying
natures rain

upon
vacant soul
walking alone
on white-sand
beach

awakening
gracious memories
of love's once
lost embrace
