School - Poem by jasmine waltho

When I was at school
We was given coloured stars
Put in our books
Each time they were marked
I didn't like marks
Crossed out in red
Pleased with the ticks
I was given instead
Not keen on writing
Down a hundred lines
Or staying behind
After school time
I liked going on school trips
Away from the school
Seeing different places
Was the best thing of all
