School-Time Autorickshaws Poem by Indira Renganathan

School-Time Autorickshaws

Rating: 5.0

Tailless Bandicoots infest tri-wheeled
Magnified, laureled, festooned..
School bags, lunch bags, water bottles
In gentle jounce
On their humps as they takatakataka
On tremulous birr trickling amusing
Their children in open bellies

Crisscross, zigzag the streets
Through their nosy horns
Pied traffic ransoms the piper
Letting free the T.Bandicoots
Children innocently picnic
T.Bs smokily panic
A way of minting routine, kinetic

A beautifully poem with great imagery! Tailless Bandicoots infest tri-wheeled...Magnified, laurelled, festooned….School bags, lunch bags, watter bottles. Thanks for sharing dear madam! !
