Scoop On Humans - Lincoln Park Zoo Poem by Ima Ryma

Scoop On Humans - Lincoln Park Zoo

Snow monkeys - Mom and 3 week old
Are watching from their habitat.
They are humans the babe is told
By Mom, as both keep staring at
These beings of all shape and size.
But Mom assures her babe that here
Humans are harmless otherwise,
And there be no reason to fear.
When human watching is a yearn,
Any and all snow monkeys do
Come to the window for a turn,
Taking in the Lincoln Park Zoo.

The snow monkeys watch humans till
After a while they've had their fill.
