Like it’s in your blood
Don’t try
And get over yourself when you want to cry
Tears of a mermaid
So selfishly betrayed
Engraved in artistic taste
Until everything goes to waste

All the voices
Echo from messed up choices
Emo cries in a scream
Unlock a resenting midnight dream

Everyone’s dead
There’s nothing ahead
You’re all alone
Drenched in aromatic cologne

The next best thing is love
When there’s nothing above
If only it didn’t desecrate
Such a perfect soul mate
