Screwed Up Poem by Larry Shrum

Screwed Up

I may have screwed up
Many times in my life
With tears falling in my cup
I admit what ive done
Seeing people upset its disappointing
Im not going to run
While the fingers are pointing
As i get ready to stand
Everyone ask why
They need to understand
As i speak it isnt a lie
No ones perfect
So i shouldnt be hated
Its just cause and effect
Not to be separated
From the ones i love
From the ones who care
Not to fly away like a dove
This isnt fair
All i ask is for forgiveness
Asking for a second chance
As i will take care of business
I want to have one last glance
