Sea Of Melancholy Poem by Soumita Sarkar

Sea Of Melancholy

Rating: 5.0

Few company but not many know
What I shine or care to grow
Beneath my every step lie
My every wicked cell die
Hands are meant to share
At times raise to dare
What is in time that fear
But love wins all I care
Lonely sheets of agony
Wrapped in a solemn balcony
Spend many sun in shadow
Moons many half and hollow
One rose, one smile, one love divine
Rows of hours in wait and tears aligned
Rest in the lap of salt and soil
Saw a million valleys rust and coil
Dwelling in desert of pain and panic
Fallen fate dwindled erasing the static
Journey once plotted very romantically
Never crossed this sea of melancholy
