Search Deep Within Yourself Poem by Edward Kofi Louis

Search Deep Within Yourself

The government by the mob!
Search deep within yourself;
Encouragement,
And like no other.

Hail for rain!
In the land of Ham;
But, blessed are those who keep justice.

The covering!
With a large cloud;
But, the red sea dried up,
And like no other.

To steal from the people!
To divert attention,
And, to be ashamed of your deeds;
And like no other.

Attention!
Like a river in the wilderness;
but do search deep within yourself,
And like no other.

Who is adequate?
Equate, adequate!
Who is hungry?
Cry, wry!
And, to preach the message of truth.

Life is like a quiz!
love is like an interview;
And, unity is with the peace of the mind.

Of the highly literates and the intellectuals!
But, search deep within yourself;
For, the earth is divided by rivers and,
I do have a reading culture to share with you.

Effeminate,
Meliorate;
With intellectauls alike,
But, do search within yourself to find the joy of peace.
