Searing Pains Of Destiny Poem by Shameem Javed

Searing Pains Of Destiny

I fool myself repeatedly, day in and day out;
That i could ever triumph over love.
But you lay me cross the mortal plains,
You always deal a bitter blow,
Bedewed, Bedimmed against a show,
Of tearful clouds and eternal rain,
Always longed for a sigh of relief,
Was stupid to have had such a belief,
Your obstinate heart, studious mind,
You being inarticulate to me,
Make me weep at my enduring foes,
But hey Miss. Beauteous,
Truly and forever until were reborn,
I will wait clenching and unclenching my hand,
To hear you tell 'I love you Shameem'.
