Seasonal Poem by Whisper Loudly

Seasonal

My leaves, in spring, are bright, deep green
I shine and sparkle and soak in the light
Bright sun beating down on me
I grow taller, taller
stronger, stronger
the grass around me shining like silk
the flowers like satin
The air is fresh, the sky is clear
The bricks aound me, freshly washed
by the rain that I drank
dew sits on the rass
All is new
Then summer, the sun straight above
in my branches, a nest is made
where birds sing to me all day
Fall
constant noise, children run around me
my leaves begin to turn
all colors
green to red and orange
and yellow
My leaves, like candy on the ends of my branches
Winter, quieter, but still
my buds rugn to purple, ice coating my branches
An erie look I take over
but pretty, peacful, elegant
empty nests hang on ttp
I wait for the brids
to come back and sing.
