Seasonal Love Poem by Mick Law

Seasonal Love

As summer yawns and eyes hang heavy soon to sleep
and winter wakes in blankets cold and grey
what will she bring for us my love
what will she bring for us.

Your love will melt the daggered ice
and clean the dirty cloudy skies
and you will bring me joy, my love
and you will bring me joy.

Our Springtime shines on love full grown
and warms our hearts with what can be
Now we will grow as one, my love
Now we will grow as one.

Now Autumn rots the withered shoots
and love departs like cast off leaves
so what have we become, my love
so what have we become...

A very succinct piece. A poem that says so much in so fewer words. A nice little love poem Best Steve
