Seasoning Change Poem by helena masiello

Seasoning Change

times pass in dreary drought
moments slip through finger clout
and freezing ice is warm to feel
while all thats white is all thats real

Then awhile comes yet bloom
and green tangles empty room
and white slowly soaks the earth
giving life to plants in birth

then comes with longest time
the heat and rays of summer shine
the waters edge know longer fright
but solace from a busy life

know longer warm it slips away
and crunchy leaves slowly sway
while pumpkins sit with great disdain
the world a dreary chilly bane

then time passes in a dreary drought
moments slip through fingers clout
and freezing ice is warm to feel
while all thats white is all thats real
