Seasons In The Sun Poem by Ashleigh Leona Mellon

Seasons In The Sun

Uncle james, my special Uncle
You looked out for
me to help find the sun,
Together We went
to the dominoes.
For you taught me
the way to play,
and nursed me when
I skinned my knee

Cos we had joy
We had fun...
And had seasons
in the sun
I miss you a lot,
I wish you never went.
I miss you so much

I miss you more than Ever.
Uncle James I
won't forget the good times,
these good times went
by like Seasons that have gone
and these seasons are
the seasons in the sun.

I clutch on a picture
Of You, my dearly
Beloved, summers,
Springs, Autumns and
Winters, all fly by us
Cos of seasons
In the Sun forever

Souvenirs are great! They give us joy to see through the past and pain is evidently less. Please read my THE REASONS. I love your poem...the four seasons are the backgrounds of memories of your Uncle James. Nicely brightened-up by the sun. This one is like a vivid scenes of happy days still going on in your heart...and pen.... A nicely painted write. Thanks a lot for it.
