Upon this back veranda of life
'Neath a canopy of shimmering stars
In an indelible heat of fire
Comes an echo of YOUR name from afar;

Upon this day of our Summer
Our love deepens as the fathomless sea
Come let us touch our tomorrows
Upon a distant and awaiting hill of: ' Meantto be? '

Perhaps 'tis in our Athens...
Where the Aegean 'tis forever blue
But it makes no difference, my darling...
For 'i am' the Hill Of Acropolis loving only you;
