Secret Love Poem by Elizabeth Castleberry

Secret Love

Rating: 4.5

It's easy to get lost
In your deep green eyes
That captivating gaze
Can always bring surprise

When i glance across the room
I see you glancing back
That look you always give me
Could cause a heart attack

As if the only thing that matters
Is the look on my face today
And when I smile
All else fades away

A secret just between us
A covertness I adore
Your lips say just friends
But your eyes say more

We share an intimacy
Bested only by sex
So why can't you just say
What your expression reflects
