Thoughts of you seem almost wrong.
And in my dreams I feel like i'm doing harm.
Yet can you hurt the one your with?
When thinking of a boy you miss...?

This void I sense that you cannot fill.
And hearing his name gives my body chills.
While all memories come flashing back.
I now point out everything you lack.

He could turn my heart on fire.
And love me more then I could aspire.
He was everything your not.
And I still love him a lot.

You're not him and you'll never be.
Why'd I think you could have set me free?
I guess my heart won't let him go.
Yet these are things you'll never know.
