Secrets Poem by Marcquiese Burrell

Secrets

Things have seem to change
When you walked into my life
You found a place inside my heart
Invade my every, every, every private thought

Placed so much happiness
into my hands
It didn't take us much too long
To reach a point
when the problems began
Where we became the weakest
What has gotten into you
Baby, you're keeping secrets

You took away the paradise
That I know i've lost for good
I still don't know the reasons why
if you explain it, maybe I could
Didn't know all this time
you would find a way
walking right out my life
And into the arms of anothers charm
