Secrets Of My Heart Poem by Gracian Balendran

Secrets Of My Heart

I have many secrets to tell
Oh where shall I begin?
What shall I tell?
Secrets! Secrets! Secrets!
Oh they’re just too many,
If there are so much,
Which ones shall I tell?
Which ones shall I not tell?
Oh whom can I trust?
Yet I can’t keep it within me;
I need to tell to at least to someone
Oh lord show me that right person,
Go to your mother says the lord,
I too go, to ease my hearts secrets
My heart pounds and my hands tremble
Then as I try to whisper
Some of my secrets into her ear,
I just kiss all of it into her heart
The only place I knew it would be safe.
