See It Now

When Truth reveals on living pages
The facts of Jesus Christ
We see The Lord, Rock of ages
The Lamb, Love sacrificed

Memories may fade in shrouded mist
But mine stay rich and blessed
Recalling when my soul first kissed
The One my life caressed

When Love first held my wayward hand
When Fire kindled within
When Heaven caused to understand
The dreadful state of sin

I saw my goals, my wildest dreams
God’s Lamb upon the tree
My days of life like ebbing streams
And humbly bent the knee

Well I recall when praying there
As tears began to flow
When first my heart began to share
The shame of long ago

At Jesus’ feet, beneath His wing
Confessing every wrong
I gave to God my everything
To sing salvation’s song

What is the world, one’s eye, one’s limb?
What’s silver, gold or jewel
The universe I’d give to Him
Rather than die a fool

Because God lives we too may live
We too through death may rise
To live to reign with all He’ll give
In endless Paradise
